This last hair color is a great combination of lighter blonde tones with some lowlights to create a multi-tonal effect. The lowlights are applied to the crown and down to the strands, leaving most of the ends in blonde shades. The total effect creates a beautiful hairstyle that brings out the facial area. The darker crown and the lighter ends produce a complimentary hair color. The crown could be a little lighter but still fits. A great look for Carrie Underwood.

Long layered hair may take a little extra time to style, but the beautiful result is more than worth it. Make sure to get a trim every six weeks or so to ensure that your hair looks its healthiest and layers appear top notch. Long layers look great when curled with a one-inch barrel curling iron. For extra volume, use two-inch curlers while hair is damp and don't take them out until hair is completely dry.
Shake your hair out after you remove the curlers and use hair spray all over while holding your head upside down.
